Changes in your body:
You may not know what is going on with your body at this moment. Feeling rather sluggish and tired and a bit uneasy in the morning.
- Morning Sickness
- Tender Breast
- Mood Swings
This could be confusing as some of these symptoms are very similar to what some females feel like when it’s that time of the month.
Weight Gain:
While the average weight gain during the first trimester is about 2.27 kilograms, surprisingly some females actually lose weight because of morning sickness and food aversions. If it happens to you, don’t panic you will soon see the kilo’s on the scale climb.
Please remember that pregnancy is not the stage in your life where you want to put yourself on a diet, but rather to eat as healthy as possible.
Fatigue:
Even the most happy go lucky moms-to-be complain that their get-up-and-go— got up and went in the first trimester of pregnancy. You have to be patient with your body as the majority of energy is directed into building the placenta, and providing hormonal support to the new life growing inside you.
